Le�r�s: He's the grandfather of Daisuki and the owner of Riki.  He lost his left ear to Akakabuto,(as you see above ) when he shot Akakabuto's right eye out. He is the trainer of Gin, and a very tough trainer who uses...'odd' methods of training. (Such as hitting Gin with large sticks for training when he was practically a newborn x__x), but when he gets injured by a bear, so he turns the posostion of training Gin to Daisuki.  Highlight for spoiler: Gohei returns to the great battle to shoot Akakabuto, but only to have his butt kicked again.  He shoots down Akakabuto, but it doesn't kill him.

Le�r�s: Cross is the only female in the group of the wild dogs (and the only female dog other than Fuji to be mentioned in the whole anime) Despite this, she tries to be as strong and brave as all the others.  Highlight for spoiler:  She is Ben's mate, and she gives birth to three of their puppies known as George, Miney, and Ken.  They later on appear in the Ginga Legend Weed manga.

Le�r�s: John is the stuck up hunting dog of the mayor's son (Hidetoshi).  John joins the wild dogs after he got in a fight with Riki, and lost against him.  He's finds it hard to trusts others, but he becomes Gin's devoted friend.  He's skilled, speedy, and proves to be a strong fighter.

Le�r�s: Sniper is second in command in Riki's group (known as the officer) but he wants more than that. He wants to take Riki from power and become leader. When Riki and Gin unite, Sniper sees Gin as a threat to his posistion, and makes plans to kill him.  In the mountain temple, Gin and Sniper fight, and Sniper loses to Gin.  Highlight for Spoiler: Just before the Great Battle against Akakabuto, Sniper gets in a fight with Ben, but is defeated and thrown off a cliff, never seen again, until in the Ginga Legend Weed manga.

Description: Hyena is Sniper's follower.  He betrays Ben, but tries to get back on his side by spying on the Koga ninja dogs. He also helps Ben and The Iga Ninja dogs to defeat the Koga dogs.  Highlight for spoiler: When Sniper is thrown off a cliff by Ben, Hyena jumps off after him, and dies.

Breed: Springer Spaniel

Description: Smith leads the 3rd group in Riki's pack.  He used to be under Sniper's orders, but left and stopped serving him.  He may not be as brave as the others, but he's still done some courageous and smart things.  He saved Gin from Sniper and led Gohei to Akakabuto so he could shoot him.

Name: Benisakura

Gender: Male

Breed: Tosa Inu

Description: A compassionate and powerful dog,  Benisakura was known as one of Japan's strongest dogs alive.  His owner entered him in fighting competitions against other dogs.  He had both of his ears torn off in fights, and has recieved many scars on his face as well.  When Benisakura captures Cross and keeps her locked up,  Gin comes to save her, and he fights against Benisakura.  Benisakura releases Cross and then decides to join Gin to defeat Akakabuto. Highlight for spoiler:  He saves Moss from getting crushed by the bear, Mosa's paws, and then drags Mosa down into the water with the rope that Gin and the others tied Mosa up with. But Benisakura drowns himself as well, when he ties the rope around a log on the bottom of the lake to trap Mosa underwater.  Gin dives down to save him, but Benisakura hits him away, wanting Gin to get back up to safety.

Description:  A powerful fighting dog that won the championship three times in a row.  As Musashi has gotten older and no longer wants to fight in championships, he joins Gin's group to fight Akakabuto. 

Name: Hakuro

Gender: Male

Breed: Siberian Husky.  He's been noted to be part Malamute too though.

Description: He leads a large group of wild dogs from Hokkaido of which most seem to be of northern breeds.   Ben and his group encounter them.  After abit of what seemed to be a misunderstanding, the two groups solve the misunderstanding quickly and peacefully join forces.

Breed: Collie

Description: His wife (Lee) and son were killed by the Koga Ninja-dogs. Wilson is enraged with this, so he takes Kurojaki's pup, Chibi, and throws it off a cliff, along with himself. Cross saves it, and they all survive the fall.  He then afterwards joins the wilddogs.

Breed: Great Dane

Description: The leader of the second group in Riki's pack.  A loyal and strong fighter.  Before that, another dog, Bemu, tests Great's loyalty towards Riki by having him sit on train tracks by getting hit by a train. Great begins to cry blood, as he knows that he won't be able to fight Akakabuto with the great Leader.  But Bemu sees this and jumps to the tracks and saves him from the train at the last minute.  He is then allowed to join the Ohu-fighters.

Breed: Great Dane (I've heard that he's a Boxer too though)

Description: He had acid dropped on his head by a human, and is now left deformed.  Any dog who gawked or stared at his deformation, he killed. He puts Great's loyalty to the Great Leader to the test by having him sit on train tracks to get hit by a train.  He saves Great at the last minute though.

The Iga Ninja-dogs

A group of white Kishu breed dogs, lead by Akame, that guard the Iga Ninja-house.

Le�r�s: Akame is the leader of the Iga Ninja-dogs.  He sees Gin and the group as enemies and break out into fight.  But he realizes that they're not enemies, and joins Gin's group of wild dogs to help fight Akakabuto after burning down the Iga house.

A Koga Ninja-kuty�k

A group of wild brown cannibal dogs with weird mohawks on their heads, lead by Kurojaki. They are Shikoku dogs, a breed of dog in japan.  ( a fact in real life is that Shikoku breeds don't have mohawks on their heads)

Le�r�s: Leader of the odd mow-hawked dogs (A.K.A; the Koga Ninja-dogs) For a weapon, he carried a sickle in his mouth. He and Gin fight, and Gin ends up lodging his sickle, and taking out Kurojaki's right eye with it.  He then seeks revenge upon Gin after this.  He has a pup named Chibi, who is thrown off a cliff by a collie named Wilson.  Kurojaki goes absolutely berserk about this, attacking everyone in his path, but Gin manages to stop him though.  Highlight for spoiler:  When Akame burns the Iga  Ninja House down, Kurojaki jumps into it to complete his mission, and burns to his death.

Le�r�s: P�tyi egy k�ly�k kutya �s Kurojaki fia. Wilson throws him of a cliff when Kurojaki attacks him.  Then Cross jumps of the cliff to save the pup.  She and Wilson survive the fall, as does the pup, and the group looks after the pup.  His name means 'small', which suits for for now anyways.
